The record opens on November 14
Four hundred and twelve institutional managers, scored on how early they were.
Every quarter, roughly four thousand funds tell the Securities and Exchange Commission what they own. The filings are public and almost nobody reads them. MoveableAlpha reads all of them and asks one question of each manager: when they entered a position that worked, were they early or were they late①?
The answer is a single figure per manager per horizon, and a timeline showing the quarter they first reported the position. No signals, no recommendations, no live prices. A record of who was early, published four times a year.
