Methodology
No edition or ranked result has been published under this standard. It records what must be true before publication, not a result that already exists.
Status
Exact direction rules, significance definitions, confluence weights, review thresholds, and production universe are not final or in production. They will receive a production method version before the first live edition; this document revision is not that version.
Source families
The publication is designed around Form 4, Schedules 13D/G, Form N-PORT, and Form 13F. Each family answers a different question and has a different reporting clock. MoveableAlpha joins available current directions around the same security without treating absence as a neutral signal.
Planned publication path
Public filings are resolved to the relevant entities, normalized by filing family, read for current direction where an input is present, placed in cross-signal context, ordered by attention × significance, and reviewed by a person before publication. Silence remains valid when nothing clears the published standard.
Provenance
Every published claim must carry its reporting or as-of date, filed-at time, form type, accession, direct SEC source, and production method version. Inputs present remain visible. A reader must be able to move from conclusion to source without requesting access.
Selection boundary
Attention identifies where filing activity concentrates. Significance identifies which developments merit editorial review under the versioned production rules. Neither means expected price movement. Selection is not recommendation.
Limits and revisions
Filing coverage remains partial and delayed by each form’s rules. Read the Disclosures for form-specific limits. When a production method changes, the new version and effective publication will be named; an older edition keeps the version used when it was published.
